Copyright Notice

Family Tree Builder – Platinum Elite (the "Application") is protected by copyright laws, intellectual property laws, and applicable international treaties. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by the copyright owner.

Ownership

The Application, including but not limited to its:

Software source code and compiled code
User interface (UI) and user experience (UX)
Application design and layout
Features and functionality
Graphics, icons, logos, images, and visual assets
Themes, templates, and styles
Databases and application architecture
Documentation and user guides
Branding, product names, and trademarks
Audio, animations, and other multimedia content

remain the exclusive intellectual property of the Developer/Owner.

Purchasing or downloading the Application grants you a licence to use the software in accordance with the applicable End User Licence Agreement (EULA) and Terms & Conditions. It does not transfer ownership of the software or any intellectual property rights.

Permitted Use

Subject to your licence, you may:

Install and use the Application on your authorised device(s).
Create, edit, save, and export your own family tree projects.
Print or share your exported family tree files for personal, educational, or family use.

All ownership rights to the software remain with the Developer.

User-Created Content

All family tree information, photographs, notes, and other content that you create within the Application remain your property.

The Developer does not claim ownership of your personal family tree data or exported files.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and protection of the information you create, store, or share.

Restrictions

Except where expressly permitted by applicable law or with prior written permission from the Developer, you may not:

Copy or reproduce the Application or any substantial part of it.
Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from the software.
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code.
Circumvent or remove licence keys, activation systems, or copyright notices.
Redistribute, resell, sublicense, lease, rent, lend, or commercially exploit the Application.
Upload the Application to file-sharing websites, torrents, cloud drives, or public repositories for redistribution.
Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, branding, or proprietary notices contained within the Application.
Use the Application in any manner that infringes the intellectual property rights of the Developer or any third party.

Unauthorised copying, modification, reproduction, reverse engineering, or redistribution of this software is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

Trademarks

The name Family Tree Builder – Platinum Elite, together with its associated logos, branding, product names, slogans, and graphical elements, are the property of the Developer unless otherwise stated.

No licence or permission is granted to use these trademarks without prior written consent.

Third-Party Components

The Application may incorporate third-party libraries, fonts, icons, or open-source software that are licensed under their respective licences.

Ownership of such third-party components remains with their respective copyright holders.

Where applicable, their licences are acknowledged separately.

If you believe that this software has been copied, redistributed, or used in a manner that infringes your intellectual property rights or those of the Developer, please contact:

Reservation of Rights

By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to respect the intellectual property rights and copyright protections applicable to this software.
